OcheLens is a private practice tool. It is designed so that the interesting part — your own camera footage and audio — never leaves your phone. Account, access and confirmed-score data is stored with your sign-in, as listed below.
Camera off by default
The camera is never opened on page load. It starts only after you tap an explicit request, and it stops when you leave the Camera Lab.
Video is not stored by default
Calibration works from a live view. Frames are not uploaded or saved unless you deliberately choose to keep something in a future labelled validation programme.
Consent before capturing another person
If someone else is in the frame, ask them first. OcheLens will always ask you to confirm consent before any capture that could include another person.
What stays on this device
Your drill records, match history, camera calibration, five-dart tune and the working copy of your Board Learner are kept in this device's local storage. Camera frames and audio are never uploaded.
What is stored with your account
OcheLens uses sign-in accounts. Our backend holds your email address, display name, membership status, role and camera-access setting; player-confirmed throw labels with their metadata (score, input method, board position and confidence numbers — no images or audio); a numbers-only backup of your Board Learner per board; and, only while in use, a paired TV's live scoreboard and linked-camera guesses.
No player surveillance
No pose tracking, no behavioural profiling, no fraud detection, no scoring of people. OcheLens is camera-first and player-confirmed: camera assist is in validation, so every reading is confirmed or corrected by you before it counts.
TV display shares the scoreboard only
A paired TV receives only the live scoreboard (names, scores, legs, sets, last visit and the finish route). No history, practice data, camera frames or audio are sent. Pairings end when you disconnect, after inactivity or after twelve hours.
No betting, no prizes
OcheLens contains no gambling, betting, wagering, advertising or prize mechanics, and no social feed.
Your controls
16 confirmed throws, 7 drill records and 1 matches are stored locally. Deleting local data does not remove account-stored records; email support to ask for those to be removed.

Honest limits
Automatic dart recognition is an active research feature. This app does not currently perform reliable live automatic dart recognition, live pose tracking or fraud detection. The alignment guidance is self-review only — it is not coaching or medical advice. OcheLens is a prelaunch prototype and the name is a working name, not trademark-cleared.
